Semiconductor recruitment

Precision placement in semiconductor engineering

Partners In Hiring is a specialist recruitment firm focused entirely on the semiconductor industry. We work with IC design houses, fabless companies, IDMs, and EDA vendors to place engineers across analog, digital, RF, and process disciplines.

Our approach is direct and unhurried. We take on a small number of searches at any time so that each one receives the attention it deserves — from the first conversation to the first day on the job.

How we work

  • Specialisation

We recruit exclusively in semiconductor engineering. No generalist coverage, no adjacent markets. Depth in one discipline is the only way to serve it well.

  • Discretion

Candidate details are never shared without explicit consent. Client searches are conducted confidentially unless otherwise agreed.

  • Honesty

We tell candidates when a role is not right for them. We tell clients when a search is unrealistic. Relationships built on candour last longer.

  • Long view

We measure success by placements that hold — engineers who stay, teams that grow. Short-term fills that churn are a failure, not a metric.

Our story

Built for one industry — and nothing else

Partners In Hiring was founded on a simple premise: semiconductor engineering is too specialised for generalist recruiters. The discipline requires fluency in the work — understanding the difference between a layout engineer and a circuit designer, knowing which companies are growing and which are contracting, and having the relationships to make introductions that matter.

We built this firm to do that work properly — with a small team, a focused mandate, and no interest in volume for its own sake.

Andrea — Founder

Deep roots in semiconductor recruitment — built over 15 years

I founded Partners In Hiring because I saw a gap between what semiconductor companies actually need and what generalist recruiters deliver. Placing engineers in analog, digital, RF, and mixed-signal roles requires more than reading a job description — it requires understanding the work itself.

I work with a small number of clients and candidates at any time. That is a deliberate choice. Every search I take on gets my full attention — not a junior coordinator's first pass. If I cannot help, I will say so directly.
